Binance, the leading global cryptocurrency exchange, has emerged as a beacon of hope with its sizable humanitarian initiative in the wake of the devastating earthquake that has left Morocco reeling from extensive devastation.

Direct Aid for Binance Users

In a rare show of solidarity, Binance Charity will donate $3 million in BNB (Binance Coin) to earthquake-stricken Moroccan users. Users with verified POAs before September 9, 2023, will receive $100 in Binance Coins, worth $20,957 at the time.

The kindness continues. Binance will also give $25 in BNB to POA verification users between September 9 and 30, 2023. The distribution process begins on September 12, 2023.

Global Donations for Earthquake

Beyond the focused assistance for its user base, Binance Charity has cast a wider net, initiating a dedicated public donation channel. This gesture invites the international community to stand with the affected Moroccans in this hour of dire need. This donation drive is open to several leading cryptocurrencies, including BNB, BTC, ETH, USDC, USDT, and BUSD. The proceeds from this initiative will flow seamlessly to a vetted NGO, entrusted with the task of executing the Emergency Earthquake Appeal.
